Our goal at Service Angel is to highlight companies with outstanding service, to help them hire the best talent to continue that work, and to make it easy for homeowners to find them. Potential talent looking for work can access our services to find organizations that are hiring. This platform is also designed to streamline the search process that many technicians experience when deciding which of the many service companies to work for. We provide them with all of the information they need about not only the available position but also the company all in one place so that they feel comfortable applying. For homeowners, we highlight important information on the company such as their history, reviews, discounts, services offered, and company values.
Our platform is a one-stop service to “find the right fit.” Right fit for the homeowners, right fit for the business owners, and the right fit for the technicians. Together, we work to reach the right audience at the right time – enter cliché – to make everyone happy. Our Goal
Oftentimes, the issue is finding the right fit with both the employer and employee. The idea behind our service is to have one platform where we can help the companies find the right talent, and for the technicians to find the right employer. But we don’t just stop at that, we take it a step further to include the homeowners into the mix, to help make sure they find the right company and technician for their needs.
Did you know that only 1 tradesperson is starting their career while 3 are finishing? This leaves a major lack of skilled tradespeople to keep our communities safe and healthy. According to Career Explorer, the demand for HVAC and plumbing technicians is expected to rise by 15% by 2026. However, with a growing aging/retiring population, and loss of interest in trades due to the traditional hiring processes and incentives, there is a shortage of qualified technicians in the industry. Young workers need a work environment where they feel fulfilled with company and community values, and incentives that offer competitive pay and work/life balance. The traditional way of recruiting and offering a basic salary doesn’t cut it anymore. A strategy needs to be created to encourage the young workforce to go into the industry and get them to apply to your company.
